For a while now, I’ve been looking for a way to join in the
effort to fight back against climate change. I’ve discovered what seems like an excellent best
path and I want to offer an invitation to join me.
Earlier this week I got a chance to meet Mark Kitchell and
see his feature documentary “A Fierce Green Fire –The Battle for a Living
Planet”. It covers the 50-year history
of the environmental movement and tells the story of how we’ve won past
struggles. As a result, it inspires and shows us how to win the climate change
battle. Cara
Mertes, Director, Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program says “The material is vast and it’s an
incredibly dynamic film. It’s shaping up to be the documentary of record on the
environmental movement. I think it’ll be hugely successful.”
This is the critical moment that will decide how successful
the film will be in helping build momentum against climate change. The film opens in theaters in San Francisco,
Berkeley, and L.A. this Friday, March 15.
If you live nearby, or know of anyone who does, you can be
instrumental. It’s easy:
